Fara Khaleeli from Tender Loving Canines Assistance Dogs (TLCAD) gave us a great program outlining the wonderful work TLCAD does providing the gift of independence to wounded warriors and individuals with autism. Fara is pictured, left, with PLRC member Karin and with TLCAD supporter Michelle and autism support dog Star. Michelle's story of the impact Star has had on her son was inspiring and we thank Fara for her time, insights, and wonderful organization.
Community Programs Director Kira also welcomed Bob Davis from Rady's Bernardy Center for Medically Frail children. Bob is pictured with Flip Heinz, who along with his wife Jet have been active volunteers at the center for many years.
