It was a very busy meeting on Friday, Feb. 21.  Our speaker, Rico Caveglia, is a San Diego health / fitness / wellness consultant and certified personal trainer who helped educate us on how to live an "Ageless Living Lifestyle" that can provide "All Day Energy: The Natural Way".  He also had a club-participation sequence which, taken out of context, looks like a dance competition but was intended to improve our overall help.  Pictured are Prez-Elect Tim and Rico.  We thank Rico for his time.

We also had a wonderful young musician from Point Loma High School who came to play his trombone as part of the District 5340 Instrumental Music Competition.  Nathaniel Lapic, pictured with his mom, Karla Lapic and Youth Programs Advisor Jim, played four separate selections from classical composers and also gave a brief history of how the trombone was developed and how it came to represent a very important part of any orchestra.  We thank Nathaniel and wish him great success in this week's district Regional Competition.
