Debra Gookin, the primary force behind the project, met with Susan Stone and Jeff Mather from the Savusavu Fiji Rotary Club this week. She met with them in Port Townsend, WA, and gave them "Ride The Point" hats which they appreciated. Debra, Suan, and Jeff also discussed the next Rotary Foundation Grant proposal and talked about plans for deployment of the 300 Safe Water Stations that are arriving in Fiji this week. They plan to put them in the first village on August 5 and roll them out over the next few months. Great news, Debra!
