Our program on the 9th featured Dr. Matt Kurth, a pharmaceutical physician practicing in greater San Diego. His professional experience spans clinical medicine, neurology, gastroenterology, inflammatory disorders, and biomedical sciences. His presentation, “Vaccine Development 101 – or how COVID Vaccines came about,” went into great detail on both safety and efficacy of the vaccines. Matt and his wife Janice, our Rotary District Governor in 2015-16, are both vaccinators and have gained anecdotal information after vaccinating over 500 individuals. A copy of his presentation was provided to all club members and is well worth reviewing by everyone who is interested.
