The mission of San Diego County Crime Stoppers Inc. is to partner with local law enforcement agencies, the media, and the public to help solve felony crimes anonymously.Crime Stoppers combats the three major problems law enforcement faces in gathering information; fear of reprisal, apathy, and a reluctance to get involved. 

This presentation will cover:

• What Crime Stoppers is and how it helps keep communities safe by allowing people to report crime anonymously.

• An overview of how the tip process works, including the use of our secure mobile app and tip line.

• The Students Speaking Out program, designed to empower students to share critical information about bullying, threats, drugs, weapons, and suspicious behavior—without fear of retaliation.

• Real-life examples of how anonymous student tips have helped prevent violence and save lives.

• A message of community responsibility, personal safety, and courage in speaking up
