Point Loma Rotary meeting on January 27, 2017

 

Another great meeting last Friday, highlighting the outstanding young Rotarians in our area.  Pictured are Eagle Scout William Price, from PL Boy Scout Troop 24 and PLHS Interact, providing a summary of his Eagle Scout project (which the club supported) at Lindbergh Elementary School.  Next we heard from Jessie Case, a member of the Pacific Beach Rotaract and an Americorps VIP Fellow.  She provided us with information on how HandsOn San Diego, a local volunteer matching organization, matches volunteers to one-time or ongoing projects that meet the flexible needs of the individual and non-profit organizations.
