Point Loma Rotary welcomed Dr. Gary Weitzman, President and CEO of the San Diego Humane Society on May 18th. Dr. Weitzman discussed the roles and responsibilities of the society in providing services for stray animals and other avenues of support at the center. We also welcomed Shari and Jean from the Peninsula Shepherd Center, a community organization providing transportation and appointment management services for Point Loma seniors. They dropped by to accept the club's donation check...they are pictured here with Community Programs Director Kira.
