Amanda Plante, MBA, San Diego's Parrots
Amanda is the Development & Education Director, R.E.P. For Wildlife & SoCal Parrot, and a Navy veteran with a passion for parrot education and conservation. She grew up in the Midwest on a small farm and, from a very early age, cared for many different types of animals. She's been a volunteer with Project Wildlife for the past few years and supports the organization’s Raptor Team and Education Team. Leading the development & education team at SoCal Parrot, Amanda will continue to make parrot care, conservation, and education of the public a main focus while ensuring the organization achieves the funding needed to care for San Diego’s naturalized parrots.
Amanda has a Bachelor of Science and an MBA in project management and information systems. She works in the information technology (IT) field supporting the Navy as a Department of Defense employee.
